He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Blackburn and Mildred Alligood Blackburn; his wife Trudy Clark Blackburn; and his sisters, Joyce Hall and Patsy Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Alane Williams (John) of Thomasville, Joey Blackburn (Kim) of Thomasville and Jody Blackburn (Tammie) of Ochlocknee, GA; his grandchildren, Ashley Brooks (Jeremy), Lauren Yawn (Chris), Matthew Blackburn (Sara), Kirsten Cone (Kris) and Savannah Blackburn; his great grandchildren, Grant Brooks, Lillie Brooks and Kinsley Blackburn; his sister Frances Griffin of Thomasville; his brother-in-law Dick Sullivan of Thomasville; his brother Jay Clark (Dora); and his sister-in-law Glenda Thompkins. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
