He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Nickles and Florene Mullins Nickles; and his grandparents, Silas and Lottie Nickles. He is survived by: his wife Chelcie A. Nickles of Thomson; his children, Ladonna Nickles of Hindman, KY, Felicia Herald (Calvin) of Hazard, KY and Willis Herald of Hazard, KY; his brothers, Rhonald "Julio" Nickles (Pam) of Thomson and Adrian Nickles of Pinetop, KY; his grandchildren, Jaden Feltner, Mason Johnson, Geneda Stidham, Kinsley Herald and Calvin Stidham Jr.; his great grandchild Jaden Feltner Jr.; and his aunts, Vivian Nickles (Joyce Napier) of Kentucky and Lorene Sloan of Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Ronald McDonald House Charities.
