He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miss Lelia Wideman and Willie Perrin; his wife Kathy; his children, Lizzie Mason (Johnnie), Belinda DeWitt (John), Zelda, Alex and Lelia Wideman; his stepdaughters, Brenda Zellars (Mark) and Kathleen Tutt; his niece April B. Jones; his granddaughters, Tamesha Henderson and Teresa H. Jones; his siblings, Nina Middleton and George Perrin; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin Jasper (Bessie), Carolyn Bussey and Earlean Turner. He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
