She was predeceased by : her parents, Bowden Bridges and Zadie Mae Brown Bridges; and her siblings, Charles Bridges and Carolyn Bridges Burnam. She is survived by : her husband William Thomas "Bill" McCord; her sons, Chad McCord (Anne) of Sylvania and Chris McCord (Amy) of Thomson; and her grandchildren, Billy McCord, Mary Anne McCord, Addison McCord (Emma) and Hayden McCord.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824-4058). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Savannah Valley Memorial Garden.
