We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 45, John Arthur Gilstrap (Thomson, Georgia), born in Dahlonega, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Cathy Chandler Gilstrap; his grandmothers, Jimmie Chandler and Roberta Gilstrap; and his father-in-law David Stevens. He is survived by : his father Gerald Gilstrap; his wife Ericka Stevens Gilstrap; his children, John David, Hunter, Justin and Katherine; his brothers, Jaime and Justin Gilstrap; his mother-in-law Lindia Stevens; his sister-in-law Kellie Aguilar; his nephews, Mason, Matthew and David Aguilar; his niece Kerrie Gilstrap; and his grandfather-in-law Bobbie Stevens.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
