He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Denver Connors and Mary Ellen King Connors; and his stepson Timothy DeYoung. He is survived by: his wife Emma Connors; his son Richard M. Connors; his stepchildren, Lanette Rudolph (Jeff), Graymont, Rick DeYoung (Pam), Chattanooga, Brenda Norton and Auburn; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Toon (Dylan), Andrew DeYoung (Kelly) and Emilee DeYoung; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dylana, Matthew, Dylan, Landon, Payton, Paislee, Adaline, Izabel, Hallie, Harper and James.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Global Methodist Church (5970 Cobbham Rd, Appling, GA 30802). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:40 PM at 505 Westview Dr, Thomson, GA 30824.
