She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Cauthen and Lydia Spradley Cauthen; her former husband Thomas Jefferson Brewer, Sr. (T. J.); her brothers, Newal (Christine), Arthur (Ruth) and Bob (Audrey); her brother-in-law Lafoye Pipkin; and her son-in-law David Johnson.
She is survived by: her sister Marlene Pipkin; her spouse T. J. Brewer; her children, Thomas Jefferson Brewer, Jr. (Jeffery), Pamela Joan Johnson (David) and Marsha Denise Mercer (Thom); and her grandchildren, Micah Brewer (Sara), Jared Brewer (Michelle), Sarah Howard (Aric), Andrea Hosea (Nathan, Sr.), Nathan Brewer (Elisabeth), T. J. Mercer (Kate), Anna Marie Pavy (E. J.), Lydia Van Pelt (Kyle), Thomas Brewer (Kathryn), Ehren Brasselle (Matthew), Philip Brewer (Morgan), Andrew Mercer (Maddi), Christen Napp (Mat), Caroline Brasselle (Trevor), Benjamin Brewer (Hannah), Leah Hesed (Zach) and Hannah Brewer. She is also survived by 46 great-grandchildren.
