He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Chapman Tift Jr. and Doris Purvis Tift. He is survived by: his wife Serita Chancey Tift; his children, Ashley Bowers (Worth) and Amos Chapman Tift IV (Anna); his grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, Mack Bowers, Hardy and Ford Tift; and his siblings, Joyce Davis, Telie Sumner (Dale) and Homer Tift. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Episcopal Church (2411 Central Ave, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Tifton, GA, or to Hospice of Tiftarea.
