She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Morris, Wayne Arrington and Roy Covington; her parents, Tommie Akins Reeves, Sr. and Blanche Elizabeth Hunnicutt Reeves; her brothers, Richard Lake Reeves, Walter George Reeves and Tommie Akins Reeves, Jr.; and her son-in-law Warren Coats.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Coats; her sisters, Helen Greene and Wanda Futch; her sister-in-law Mary Brown; her granddaughters, Lauren Schmidt (Kurtis) and Callie Shepard (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Samantha Shepard, Hannah Shepard, Caleb Shepard, Olivia Shepard and Eli Schmidt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Albritton Funeral Directors (1020 Tift Ave N, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Baptist Church (3917 US-319, Tifton, GA 31793).
