He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Aldine Hicks and Ruby Elizabeth Sanders Hicks; and his wife Mary Lee Maddux Hicks. He is survived by: his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Tim Cummings of Tifton; his son Danny; his daughter-in-law Joan Hicks of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Bryan Hicks, Jennifer Alexander, Heather Dailey, Brett Hicks and Kristen McMillan. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
