He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Schofill, Sr. and Vera Mae Flancher Schofill; and his siblings, John Henry Schofill, Jr. and Valerie "Lynn" Schofill. He is survived by: his son CJ; his daughter-in-law Amber Schofill; his children, Hayley of Tifton and Hunter Schofill of Tifton; his brother Edsel; his sister-in-law Kelli Schofill; his sister Kimberly Schofill (Alex Herrera); and his grandchildren, Riley Schofill and Finley Schofill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the funeral home to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses.
