She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Alice Bassham Hart and Homer "Hoop" Clayborn Hart; her husband Dr. Alton N. Sparks, Sr.; her siblings, Bud Hart and Gayle Hamby; and her pet Tobi Marie Sparks.
She is survived by: her great great grandchildren, Tanya Murphy (Ken), Beverly Sparks (Allen Tibbetts), Stormy Sparks (Wendy) and Neta Sparks; her great grandchildren, Kris Murphy (Melissa), Scott Murphy (Brandy), Kyle Murphy (Paola), Lyn Jenkins (Brad), Mandy Roberts, Jordan Sparks (Ginna), Kaylyn Mitchell (Cody), Alyssa Sparks, Talon Sparks, Kirsten Murphy, Hayden Murphy, Hannah Grace Murphy, Madeleine Sedowicz, Patrick Murphy, Josie Murphy, Jamie Murphy, Avery Pass, Brandon Pass, Katie Sparks, Drew Sparks, Owen Sparks and Lily Ann Murphy; and her children, Tanya, Beverly, Alton Jr. "Stormy" and Neta. She is also survived by her four children, 9 grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Abac Chapel (2802 Moore Hwy, Tifton, GA 31793). Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Tift Hall (2802 Moore Hwy, Tifton, GA 31793).
