He was predeceased by: his parents, David Clarence Johnson and Nancy Walker Johnson; and his siblings, Frances (Bobby Watson), Emma Jean (Mike Burgess) and Mike Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Carter Johnson of Tifton; his daughters, Beverly Johnson Fernandez (Al) of Canton, Cindy Johnson Stone (Todd) of Albany and Kathy Johnson Posey (Jamie) of Roswell; his grandchildren, Jason (Haley Stone), Sarah (Michael Golden), Ashley Fernandez, Elizabeth (Preston Cohen) and Jackson Posey; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Aselton, Melanie Cohen, Logan Cohen, Ethan Cohen, Samuel Cohen, Caroline Stone, Luke Stone, Whitley Golden, Grant Golden, Titus Golden, Amy Waldrop, Cass Burch, Abbey, Brian Jack, Debbie, Paul Marchant, Robin and Jerry Williams; his siblings-in-law, Danny and Pam Carter of Albany; Becky and Michael Massey. He is also survived by five nieces.
