He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Adams Sone and Dr. Law Sone, Sr.; his wife Mary Nan Stanley Sone; his son Stan Sone; and his siblings, Beverly Elbert Smith and Dr. Law Sone, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky (Jim O'Rourke) and Betsy (Jonathan Jones); his daughter-in-law Janet Sone of Rockport, Texas; his grandchildren, Katie O'Rourke, Ryan O'Rourke, Will Jones, Becca Jones, Hays Jones and Chris Sone; and his great grandchildren, Devin Sone and Kara Sone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
