She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Dupree and Fannie Lewis Dupree; her husband Teddie Whitley; her sisters, Thelma Hood and Evelyn Westberry; and her son-in-law Mike Harrison.
She is survived by: her children, David Teddie Whitley (Debbie) of Augusta, Larry Thomas Whitley (Jan) of Baxley, Ellen Williams of Thomaston and LaNell Harrison of Tifton; her siblings, Ed Dupree of Nashville, Ruth Bennett of Nashville and Elzia Young of Nashville; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Sparks of Tifton, Betty Tucker of Enigma and Deleen Sockey of Augusta. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
