It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Folsom of Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda Jean McCranie Folsom; and his brother Lamar "Elmo" Folsom. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Folsom of Tifton; his children, Michael Folsom of Adel and Rebecca Folsom of Las Vegas, Nevada; his brother Darrell; his sister-in-law Kim Folsom of Hahira, Georgia; his sister Sherry; his brother-in-law Charles Brannen of Adel; his siblings' children, Kasey Register of Adel, Shawn Mullins of Adel, Jordan Altman of Las Vegas, Jared Altman of Las Vegas and Jaden Altman of Las Vegas; his mother-in-law Patricia Miller of Adel; and his siblings-in-law, Mardy and Tommy Altman of Las Vegas. He is also survived by three great nephews and one great niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (1804 S Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home (1804 S Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Folsom Cemetery (920 Springhead Church Rd, Adel, GA 31620).
