He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Clay Coburn and Anna Ruth Broome Coburn; and his brother Everette Clay Coburn. He is survived by: his wife Dora Mae Cox Coburn of Tifton; his sons, James Newton II (Patricia Lynn Coburn) and Glenn Alan (Barbara Jo Coburn); his brother Arthur Lee; his sister-in-law Ellen Coburn of Florida; his sister Joy Pearl Coburn of Buford; his grandchildren, Jarod Coburn (Breanna), Ashley Renae Wehunt and Christopher Coburn; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Daniel Coburn, Evan Keaton Coburn, Connor Glen Coburn and Colton James Campbell.
