He was predeceased by: his parents, James Halton Gibbs and Hazel Bass Gibbs; and his sister Dorothy Gibbs Cosper. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay McBrayer Gibbs; his children, Wendy, Randy Pollock, Rebecca and Galen Murphy; his grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Tanner Murphy, Leah Murphy, Emmett Murphy and Addison Pollock; his great grandchild Barrett Murphy; and his sister Joann Woellert Cook.
