She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Sumner and Louise Hughes Sumner; and her brothers, Harold and Ferrell Sumner. She is survived by: her sons, Terrell Roberson and Sid Roberson (Melanie); her grandchildren, Justin Roberson, Lacey Roberson Jones (Blake), Jacob Roberson, Thom Roberson (Maci) and Syndee Roberson; her great grandchildren, Colton Jones, Perry Jones, Rylee Roberson, Marleigh Roberson, Harlee Jones and Maeleigh Roberson; and her siblings, Charles Sumner (JoAnn), Paul Sumner (Amy) and Brenda Chappell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (30 Academy Dr, Tifton, GA 31733). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
