He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Greer and Ada Petty Greer; his grandson Kaden Greer; and his siblings, Louie Greer, Johnny Greer, Lovella Cochran, Rowena Dunbar, Jessie Lou Newman and Sheleita Greer.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Edna Watkins Greer; his children, Nathan (Deirdre Greer), Alita (Robbie Kinard), Sheri (Johnny Taylor) and Olin (Stacia Greer); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Justin Hersey, Korey, Emily Greer, Tori Kinard, Ryan Kinard, Troy, Caitlyn Taylor, Brock, Emily Taylor, Garrett Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Bryce Greer, Abby, Adron Ingle, Lexy Greer and Tyler Greer; his great grandchildren, Bentlee Taylor, Kaislee Taylor, Bethany Greer and Blakely Greer; his brother Buren Greer; his sister-in-law Robin; and his close friend Mary Frances Archer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Albritton Funeral Directors (1020 Tift Ave N, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carpenter Road Church of God (40 Carpenter Rd N, Tifton, GA 31793). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Tift Memorial Gardens (1754 US-82, Tifton, GA 31794).
