He is survived by: his wife Patsy Evelyn Goodroe of Tifton; his children, Shelia (Tony Kearce) of Tifton, Joe Jr. (Monica Goodroe) of Perry and Jennifer (Corey Sanchez) of Moultrie; his sister Betty McDaniel of Perry; and his grandchildren, Austin Kearce, Britney Wilson, Kayla Sanchez, Kaden Sanchez, Richard Goodroe and Kaylee Sanchez. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
