She was predeceased by: her friend Jim Hardy; her parents, Clyde Pearson and Carrie Pearson; her husband Jim Hardy; and her siblings, Barbara Sumner and Wendell Pearson.
She is survived by: her brother Don Pearson Sr. (Linda); her daughters, Lyn Parson (Jeff), Lela Layfield and Laurie Lott (Regg); her grandchildren, Charlie Lott, Kenna Layfield, Carrie Ann Layfield and Abbie Lott; and her great grandchild Ellie Douglas.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Albritton Funeral Directors (1020 Tift Ave N, Tifton, GA 31794). A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
