Loron E. Williams Jr. Obituary
A native of Crisp County, Mr. Williams, 83, died at his residence Wednesday night, Nov. 5, 2008. He was farmer and lifetime member of the Nancy Williams United Methodist Church. A 1949 graduate of Auburn University, he served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force completing 35 bombing missions. He was a founder of Crisp Academy in 1967.
He was the son of the late Dr. Loron E. Williams and the late Eddie Sheppard Williams. <p> He is survived by his wife: Carolyn P. Williams of Cordele; his children: Loron Williams, III, his wife Judy of Tifton and their children: Loron Williams, IV and Katie Williams, and step-children: Micah Baldwin, Adrienne Baldwin and Julienne Baldwin; Stuart Williams and his wife Connie of Tallahassee and their children: Luke Williams and Mariana Williams; Lisa Horne and her husband Monte of Cordele and their children: Monte Horne, Jr., Kellam Horne and Joseph Horne; Nancy Farrow and her husband Sammie of Cordele and their children: Sam Farrow and Taylor Farrow; Carol Collins and her husband Ricky of Cordele and their children: Lindi Collins and Libbi Collins.
