She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas "Tom" Shaw and Mildred Pauline Carr Shaw; her siblings, Gerald Shaw, J. Thomas Shaw and Vivian Gray; and her nieces, Gail Suggs and Cindy Miley.
She is survived by: her sister Mavis Suggs of Tifton; her siblings-in-law, Terri, Ricky Hobbs, Judy Hockman, Margie, Brian Hardwick, Angela Suggs, Keith Gray, Carroll Gray, Darrell, Stephnie Suggs, Sheila Suggs and Eddie Suggs; and her close friend Kathy (Danny Baker) of Ellenton.
