She was predeceased by: her former husband Glenwood Luke; her husband Leslie Powers; her parents, Lester A. Griffis and Lillian M. Cox Griffis; and her siblings, Mildred Whitley Gregory and Flavis Griffis (Tate).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Darlene Luke, Nana Kareen Whitley and Alan Glenn Luke. She is also survived by grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lakeside Assembly of God (146 Tara St, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Assembly of God of Moultrie (146 Tara St, Moultrie, GA 31768). A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Tift Memorial Gardens (1754 US-82, Tifton, GA 31794).
