She was predeceased by: her spouse Dolphus Skaggs; her parents, Frank Hayes Newton, Sr. and Almeda Cunningham Newton; her son Rocky Skaggs; and her siblings, Donna Newton and Fred Newton.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Angie Sivalia), Rudolph (Mary Skaggs), Patrick (Heather Skaggs) and Lance (Renee Skaggs); her stepchildren, Sandra Hall, Joyce Foster and Tim Skaggs; and her siblings, Priscilla Ferrara, Jo Ann Green, Kathleen Bannister, Carleen Waugh, Wayne Newton, Raymond Newton and Frank Newton. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
