She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodfin Henry Wright and Georgia Lessie Brown Wright; her husband Raymond Hulett McCurdy; her siblings, Louise Henderson, Willie Mae Young, Jewell Bryan, Mary Spradley, Helen Bledsoe, Grace Thompson, Virginia Day, Arthur Wright, Charlie Wright, Bennie Wright and David Wright; and her daughter-in-law Tonya McCurdy.

She is survived by: her children, Geraldine (Larry Jordan), Brenda (Tommy Hilton), Ronnie (Wanda McCurdy), Stanley (Gail McCurdy), Craig McCurdy and Larue McCurdy; and her grandchildren, Penny Jordan, Stephanie Hilton Hogan, Joe Hilton, Lanier McCurdy, Jennifer McBlanchett, Kari Newell, Rebecca McCurdy Pylant, Heather Hilton, Justin McCurdy, Jordan McCurdy, Eddie McCurdy and Laura McCurdy. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
