She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jack Lawson and Bessie Mae McCorvey Lawson; her husband Floyd "Vaughn" Cromer; and her son-in-law Wendell Pitts. She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Pitts of Tifton and Lynda; her son-in-law Paul Tompkins of Moultrie; her siblings, Ronnie Lawson of Brookfield, Wylene Drexler of Tifton and Kathy Roberts of Tifton; her grandsons, Derek (Brooke Pitts), Kurt (Molly Pitts), Jared (Ashlie Tompkins) and Jacob (Elyssa Tompkins); Caroline Pitts, Layton Pitts, Laina Pitts, Kaia Pitts and Jocelyn Tompkins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (730 Magnolia Dr, Tifton, GA 31794).
