He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert James and Bessie Carolyne Silvey Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Swink Simpson; his daughters, Jeneane Simpson Chmieleski (Phil) and Catherine Simpson (Chris Pell); his brother Ebbie; his sister-in-law Dawn Makarios; and his nephews, Kyle (Erin), Matthew and Jesse (Kristi). He is also survived by five great nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church (351 Morrow Rd, Forest Park, GA 30297).
