He was predeceased by: his parents, Vachel David Tyson, Sr. and Frances Claire McLendon Tyson; and his sister Mary Alice Tyson. He is survived by: his wife Robin Williamson Tyson; his children, Neil Tyson of Alapaha, Brock and Allison Tyson of Sandersville; and his grandchildren, Brayden Tyson, Rylee Tyson and Jayda Harrell.
