She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jackson Tucker and Bertha Mae Palmer Tucker; her husband Everett Wood Jr.; her siblings, Coy Tucker of Hamilton, Alabama and Alma; her brother-in-law JT Satterwhite of Hamilton, Alabama; and her sister Maxine (Billy Wishum).
She is survived by: her sons, Greg (Tina Wood) of Tifton and Steve (Melissa Wood) of Ty Ty; her grandchildren, Keith Wood (Chasidy), Tyler Wood, Hope Stout (Bobby), Taylor Wood (Lauren) and Ansley Wood; and her brothers, Gene Tucker (Betty) and Dwaine Tucker (Sherrel) of Hamilton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home For Funerals (420 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ty Ty First Baptist Church (157 Church St, Ty Ty, GA 31795).
