He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nathaniel "Nat" Ramey and Iva Lee Simmons Ramey; his wife Shirley Jean Ramey; his sons, Bobby Jr. and Marty Ramey; his grandson Jimmy Allen Ramey; and his great grandchild Colton.
He is survived by: his children, Marjorie Johnson Zaharko (Alan) of Savannah, GA, Diane Steele (Nick), Lisa Almzan (Carlos) of Clayton, GA, Mike Ramey, Tommy Ramey (Becky), Wayne Ramey (Christy) of Clayton, GA, Jimmy Ramey (Amber) of Otto, NC, Stephen Ramey (Angela) of Midland, GA, Lynne Ramey, Judy Ruble and Ramona Dawn; and his stepsister Betty York of Toccoa, GA. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church (6900 Bridge Creek Rd, Tiger, GA 30576). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Rocky Grove Community Cemetery.
