William Robinson Obituary
We announce the death of William Robinson of Tignall, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 75. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. William will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew William will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. William’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Frances "Franny" Purvis Robinson; his brother Dr. Jesse Robinson (Stacie) of Tignall, Georgia; his nieces and nephews, Leroy "Tripper" Robinson III, Danny Hammond Robinson (Ashley), Walker Lee Robinson, Jessica Robinson Halminski and Maggie Mae Robinson; his stepdaughter-in-law Kerri Dodd; and his stepgrandchildren, Wesley Avery Dodd III (Lauren) and Diana Dodd Richards (Dillon). He is also survived by other family members and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Robinson Family Cemetery (1183 Broad Rd, Tignall, GA 30668).
