It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Allen Gomez of Toccoa, Georgia, born in Stephens, Georgia, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, P. J. Gomez and Ruby Cobb Gomez; and his siblings, Dale Gomez, Richard Gomez, Michael Gomez and Marilyn Gomez.

He is survived by : his children, Jody Gomez (Lydia), Darren Gomez and Von Ivester (Michelle); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Chris Gomez, Talan Grafton and Rylan Ivester; and his mother-in-law Betty Carter of Toccoa.
