With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jenell Spencer Jarrett (Toccoa, Georgia), who passed away on February 18, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Spencer and Virginia Spencer; her husband James Walter Jarrett (Jimmy) of Toccoa; her siblings, James Claude Spencer, Queena Marcengill, Muriel Cleland, Elizabeth Stowe and Betty Jean Litaker; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Litaker, Tyrus Smith and Gary Jarrett.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Jarrett (Donna Price) of Eatonton, Jimmy Jarrett (Wendi) of Monroe and Walter Jarrett (Lori) of Eatonton; her grandchildren, Devereaux, Randi Jarrett, Andrew, Anna Jarrett, Jessica, Nick Bryant, Sarah, Connor Newton, Makanna Jarrett, Walt Jarrett, Joe Jarrett and Case Price; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Harrison and Evelyn; her sister Bonnie Smith of Toccoa; and her sister-in-law Fran Jarrett of Toccoa.
Any donation made to this memorial fund will go directly to tree planting on the Jarrett property in Putnam County in her honor as a lasting tribute for future generations.
