It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etheldra Davis Gilmer of Toccoa, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin S. Davis and Etheldra Nalls Davis; and her husband Edward S. Gilmer, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Thomas Walker, Gilmer, Sr. (Lori) of Toccoa and Sarah Gilmer Payne of Martin; her grandchildren, Annabelle Virginia Gilmer of New York, Thomas Walker Gilmer, Jr. and Katharine Marrow Gilmer; and her caregivers, Tammy Bennett and Sharon Earls.
