He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Agnes Cromer Brown; his daughter Rhonda Lynn Brown; and his brothers, James, Jr. and Billy Joe Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Westmoreland Brown; his son Donald; his daughter-in-law Laura Brown of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Sebastian, Kathryn and Robyn Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Shelia Westmoreland of Toccoa, Charlotte West of Charleston, S. C. and Bob Westmoreland of Toccoa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
