It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean West Pruitt of Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean West Pruitt to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Eugene and Faye Hall West; her husband Walter Pruitt, II; her children, Natalie Pruitt Henson (John) of Toccoa, Adam Pruitt and Russell Pruitt (Lisa) of Toccoa; her grandchildren, William Fritz, Katlyn Pruitt, Kane Pruitt, Mera Henson, Aidan Henson, Logan Henson, Abigail Irvin, Kenley, London, Nova and Colton; and her sister Rayne Maxwell. She was also cherished by brother, Hall West; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitlock Mortuary, Inc. (120 Rose Ln, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Lavonia-Burgess City Cemetery (184 Arlington Dr, Lavonia, GA 30553).
