He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Alvin and Joyce Viola Fulghum Bennett; and his brothers, Aaron Bennett, Steve Bennett and Danny Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Faye Sosby Bennett; his children, Donald Bennett, Brian Bennett (Tiffany) and LaDonna Harris (Mark); his grandchildren, Joseph Bennett, Casey Robinson, JoAnna Esco, Boyd Bennett, Chloe Bennett, Parker Bennett and Kenyon Harris; his great grandchildren, Xavier Robinson, Easton Robinson and Beck Esco; and his siblings, Joan Keller, Linda Williams, Maxine Bennett and Cary Bennett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Whitlock Mortuary, Inc. (120 Rose Ln, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whitlock Mortuary, 120 Rose Lane, Toccoa, GA 30577 to help with final expenses.
