She was predeceased by: her parents, Nannie Mae Bell and Randolf Canady; her husband Wallace Thomas Powers; her son Douglas Powers; her brother Ronnie Bell; and her son-in-law David Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Powers Russell of Toccoa and Randall Jack Powers of Toccoa; her grandchildren, John Matthew DeWitt and Autumn Russell Cox (Kevin) of Toccoa; her great grandchildren, Warner and Quincy Cox; her sister Debbie Hornick of Toccoa; and her cousin Jackie Fuller of Snellville, Georgia. She is also survived by other loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
