He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Emory Dodd and Clyde Mason Dodd; his siblings, Cora Lee Dodd Bray (Lewis), Ruby Dodd Garrison (Joe), Charles Marion Dodd and John Daniel Dodd; and his brother-in-law John David Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Jenora Beck Dodd; his children, Lisa Dodd Harris (David), Jennifer Dodd Blasingame (Woody) and Paul Emory Dodd (Tanya); his grandchildren, Rachel Harris Anderson (Daniel), Ashley Harris Metz (London), Kate Blasingame (Nathan), Bo Blasingame and Lola Dodd; his siblings, Doris Dodd Adams and Robert "Bobby" Dodd (Martha); and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Dodd, William and Sara Jo Tucker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Toccoa, Growing Forward Fund (Building Fund), 475 E. Tugalo Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Larry Dodd.
