Lorena Stowe Agnew Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2025, at the age of 102, Lorena Stowe Agnew of Toccoa, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorena Stowe Agnew to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry W. Stowe and Lura H. Stowe; her former husband Joel B. Holcomb; and her stepson John Agnew. She is survived by: her husband Joe Agnew of Lavonia; her sons, Ronald (Belinda Agnew), Richard Conway, Athens, Sarabeth, Matt Adams, Toccoa (Rebecca), Iain Cresswell, David (Gloria Agnew), Brian Agnew of Washington, DC, Colin and Mallory Agnew of Madison; and her daughter-in-law Willene W. Keel of Cleveland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Lavonia First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 176, Lavonia, Georgia 30553 in memory of Lorena Agnew.
