She is survived by : her mother Patsy Hancox Carter of Toccoa; her husband David McDonald; her daughter Jennifer Copeland (Bryan Weaver) of Toccoa; her grandchildren, Hayden Copeland and Autumn Copeland; her brother Barry; and her sister-in-law Pam Carter of Toccoa. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
