He is survived by: his brothers, Blant Addison, Beck Addison, Burchell Addison and Artis Addison; his wife Gladys Deaton; his children, Eddie Melvin Addison Martin (Renae) of Georgia and Lisa Renee Mote (Billy); his grandchildren, Eddie Melvin Addison, II (Katie), Hunter Gaston Addison (Joanna), Alexandra Lee Wyatt (Matthew) and Emily Regan Mote Toccoa of Georgia; his great grandchildren, Rhett Hunter Addison, Myles Alexander Addison and Blakely Helen Wyatt; and his sisters, Euline Johnson of Toccoa and Ophelia Fulbright of Toccoa.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
