He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Arlin Walker and Mary Lou Nix Walker; and his siblings, Earl Leon Walker, Laverne Walker, Harold Walker and Aileen Chadwick.
He is survived by: his son Steven Walker (Maria Walker); his wife Sara Jean Lawson Walker of Toccoa; his son Larry (Lisa Walker); his granddaughters, Tiffany Renee Walker, Patricia Halbrook and Heather Nordeoff; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Patrick McLaughlin, Samuel Walker Dove and Jordan Matthew Nordeoff.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location.
