She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rumsey and Lela May Murray Rumsey; her husband Robert Gailey; and her siblings, Grace Rumsey Coffey, Willie Jean Wilbanks and Carlton Rumsey.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie; her son-in-law Tom Brown of Cleveland, Georgia; her son David Gailey of Toccoa; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Ferguson and Emily Brown; her great grandchild Everleigh Ferguson; and her siblings, Shirley Ridley of Toccoa and Bobby Rumsey of Toccoa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Toccoa City Cemetery.
