It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Bernard Smith (Toccoa, Georgia), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Smith and Mamie Lou Miller Smith; his wife Pamela Diane Kirkland Smith; his sister Sue McGowan; and his granddaughter Hannah Brothers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda (William Brothers) and Jennifer (Joshua Segars); his grandchildren, Joshua Brothers, Ashleigh Brothers, Cindy Brothers, Tyler Brothers, Jarrett Segars, Hannah-Grace Segars and Haley Segars; and his brother Harvey Smith of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Pointe Church (111 Fieldcrest Dr, Eastanollee, GA 30538).
