He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel McFarlin and Minnie Lee LeCroy McFarlin; and his brother Joel McFarlin. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Thurmond McFarlin; his daughters, Paula Jordan of Toccoa and Pam Woods of Eastanollee; his grandchildren, Tyler Owenby of Martin, Brooke Owenby of Eastanollee, Erin Jordan of Toccoa and Kayla Woodard of Toccoa; and his siblings, Denman McFarlin of Martin, Travis McFarlin of Red Hill and Glenda Slaton of Toccoa. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunters Creek Baptist Church, 1370 Hunters Creek Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mr. Wendell Alvin "Pete" McFarlin.
