He was predeceased by: his parents, Will T. Atkinson and Hattie Andrews Atkinson; and his former wife Belle Landry Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Crooks; his daughters, Pam Williams of Spartanburg, SC and Pat Edwards (Chad) of Newnan, GA; his stepdaughter Sherry Bradley (Jack); his grandchildren, Hayli Evans, Connor Edwards, Payton Edwards (Savannah) and Madison Edwards; his stepgrandchildren, Chris, Clay (Jennifer) and Candice; and his caregiver Candice Rumsey.
