He is survived by: his children, Wanda Knowles (Walker), Rhett Spires (Kathy) and Nancy Rickerson (Robert); his grandchildren, Emily McWhorter (Bob), Benji Knowles (Emily), Heath Spires (Ashley), Heather Floyd (Josh) and Kris Rickerson (Paula); and his great grandchildren, Kathryn McWhorter, Grayson Knowles, Sophie Knowles, Darci Spires, Holt Spires, Brannen Spires, Kacey Rickerson and Korie Rickerson.
